No grand events, no words of wisdom—just the honest logic of a child who knew exactly what mattered. Melia Inglin has rediscovered her old diaries, filled with such precise snapshots of happiness. Now they take center stage in an evening performance featuring singing, spoken passages, trombone, and piano. From the brief, often unintentionally funny entries emerge new compositions, spoken passages, and musical moments. The texts don’t tell grand stories, but are honest snapshots—precise, direct, and unfiltered. And perhaps, reading between the lines, one discovers that even on days that were somehow lousy, something beautiful remains.
